Aquila 37C
Aquila 37C
600 EGP
- Treble Strings:Â Made from Aquila’s proprietary “Bionylon” monofilament, which is a smooth, rounded, plant-derived synthetic material (around 63-70% castor oil derivative). This eco-friendly material produces a sound that is described as a balance between traditional nylon and carbon strings, with excellent intonation stability.
- Bass Strings:Â Feature a core of New Nylgut multifilament, wound with high-quality silver-plated copper. The Nylgut core ensures high resistance to tensile stress and low moisture absorption, contributing to tuning stability and durability.
- Tension:Â The 37C designation specifically refers to the normal tension set.
- Tone:Â The overall sound profile is warmer and mellower compared to other Aquila lines like the 19C Super Nylgut strings, which are brighter.Â

We are proud to introduce the Bionylon the first eco-friendly synthetic string in the world. The first three strings are made of round, smooth Bionylon monofilament – a new material discovered by us- that also boasts excellent acoustic and mechanical properties. It produce a warm, mellow sound.
Bionylon is 63%, a plant’s derivate; this allows a reduction of more of 30% of carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere during the polymer- synthesis than the other common Nylons employed for musical strings. The bass strings, wound with high quality- silver-plated copper, consist of a Nylgut multifilament core that ensures not only a high resistance to tensile stress but also a moisture low absorption. This allows a rapid and stable intonation under moisture changes.
