Pacifica
Originally developed in partnership with our Los Angeles custom shop, the series was designed to meet the needs of top session players. With a range of pickup and hardware options, today’s Pacifica models continue to offer tonal versatility, easy playability and meticulous quality.
It’s no wonder that the Yamaha Pacifica 112 enjoys such sales success. At a remarkably reasonable price the guitar features a solid alder body, which in conjunction with the powerful bridge humbucker and two single-coil pickups produces an impressive palette of vintage and rock sounds. The instrument, in a variety of stunning colours, comes with either a rosewood or maple fingerboard, the latter (112M) offering a visual contrast as well as a slightly brighter tone. Left-handed players can enjoy the benefits of this fine yet inexpensive guitar by choosing the 112L, which has a rosewood fingerboard. A smoothly-operating vintage vibrato is common to all three versions.
